Overview: Join Ted Turner Reserves and work in one of North America’s most stunning private landscapes. Vermejo Reserve is seeking an experienced Wrangler to deliver exceptional horseback riding experiences while supporting daily barn operations.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead guided trail rides and provide engaging guest experiences
• Care for and condition horses (feeding, grooming, exercising)
• Maintain barn, tack, and equipment to high standards
• Ensure safety of guests and staff, including pre-ride briefings
• Assist with daily wrangling operations and recordkeeping

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Prior wrangler or equestrian experience required
• Strong horsemanship and horse care skills
• Excellent guest service and communication skills
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced outdoor environment
• Valid driver’s license (or ability to obtain)

Preferred:

• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Hospitality or guest ranch experience
