Ranch Technician

Turner Institute of EcoAgriculture, Inc. 📍 McGinley Ranch | Full-Time | Salaried | Exempt | Housing Provided Join one of the world’s largest and most progressive bison operations on an 80,000-acre ranch in the Nebraska Sandhills. McGinley Ranch is seeking a Ranch Technician passionate about regenerative ranching, adaptive grazing, low-stress livestock handling, and conservation stewardship.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with livestock care and low-stress bison handling
• Build and maintain electric fencing, water systems, and ranch infrastructure
• Operate tractors, heavy equipment, ATVs, and UTVs safely
• Support grazing management and daily ranch operations
• Maintain equipment, vehicles, and accurate ranch records
• Participate in ranch safety and wildfire response efforts as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience with livestock handling and heavy equipment preferred
• Valid driver’s license required
• Strong work ethic, adaptability, teamwork, and initiative
