Horse Farm seeking FT Help

## \<type here> ## Full care of horses and barn upkeep. No heavy equipment to operate-but does include fence line trimming/spraying during growing season. All chores relating to operating a horse facility-Included, but not limited to: Stall cleaning (average # of stalls to clean=5-8), feed/water, blanketing, turn in/out, management of minor fence repair or assist others when needed, debris clean up as events may occur, inventory management of feed/hay etc. Assist w/farriers or vets as needed. Occasional prepping trailers for travel to/from shows (stocking/washing). The address shown in description is incorrect, the location is Slayden MS 38642 (NW Mississippi = 40 min east of Memphis, TN) \<type here> ## Ability to work alone or assist w/others & follow instruction. Understand that work hours can vary-its a farm and there are horses. Willing to do an evening barn check during winter hours. Strong work ethic - meaning must be reliable to be present to preform the job consistently regardless of weather or what the day of the week it is. Must have recent experience w/working around & caring for horses. Ability/Experience to recognize illness/injury & knowledge to assist w/wound care. Experience w/being around/handling a stallion. Ability to properly clean & bed a stall. Recognize the importance of fresh clean water always-in stalls and outdoor tanks. Understanding that the daily activities can change quickly (the feeding schedule is the only thing that does not vary). This is not a training position nor a lesson barn. No dogs UNLESS they will 1000% not even consider showing any interest at all in barn cats.
